State-Aware Orchestration

On April 29th we launched State-Aware Orchestration, a new approach for running dbt. State-Aware Orchestration provides two new capabilities:

1. The ability to monitor state and only process new data, reducing costs and processing time
2. The ability to define SLAs on data which propagate up the dependency tree (asset-based scheduling)

This code is now open source and available on GitHub under an Apache 2.0 License. Any Data Team running dbt core can set-up database and make use of state-aware orchestration immediately.

Teams looking for a managed service can use Orchestra to run State-Aware Orchestration in a fully managed environment.
